Swamp pads give heavy equipment a solid surface to work from when the ground underneath won’t cooperate. We rent them out to crews building access roads across wetlands, working soft clay after a wet spring, or setting up on a site where a dozer or excavator would otherwise sink to the tracks. Lay them end to end and you’ve got a temporary road. Set them under a single machine and you’ve got a stable pad that spreads the load instead of concentrating it on a few square feet of mud.

Our swamp pads come in one standard size: 12 inches thick, 4 feet wide, and 20 feet long. Each set includes four pads, typically arranged with one pad running under each track of the excavator, giving you 40 feet of coverage in total. Built from hardwood timber, they’re engineered to carry the gross weight of an excavator, dozer, or loaded truck without flexing, even across soft or unstable ground.
Since the pads themselves are a fixed size, the number of sets you’ll need really comes down to how heavy your equipment is and how soft the ground actually is. A wheel loader on firm clay might get by with a single set, while an excavator working a genuine bog could need several.
